Designed for roof racks
The Crown Canopy is designed with Roof Racks in mind. A recessed, low profile Roof Rack channel is built into the canopy roof. Guaranteeing consistent load transfer from the cab to the roof of the canopy, if roof racks or a tray were to be fitted. A subtle raised edge running each side of the canopy hides the in-built channel. Leaving the edges of the Crown Canopy to remain uninterrupted by a roof rack system.A certified 100kg dynamic load rating provides structural confidence with no flex or rattle.
A foundation of fibreglass
Each canopy is formed from a fibreglass laminate made using controlled ratios of resin and interwoven chopped glass fibres, creating uniform, multi-directional load strength. The fibreglass shell construction is one piece, including the integrated base rail. This forms a solid, robust mounting platform, distributing any load carried across the entire mounting surface.
Certified strength
The Crown Canopy has withstood stringent safety testing to simulate the pressures of a dynamic load in an emergency. Replicating wind shear, a severe change in direction and a critical stop. With no deformation, the Crown Canopy achieved the Australian loading standard of 100kgs without the need for any internal framing.
Every piece counts
The fine details are what sets the Crown Canopy apart. An exterior trim runs the length of the skirting to support the base rail membrane that seals the canopy to the wellside. Similarly, around the windows, a foam core seal not only maintains adhesion but absorbs the stress movement puts on the window fixings. Custom rubber window frame seals ensure a controlled setting gap and provide a vibration barrier for paint protection.
